Founder David Baxter had over 10 years of experience in insurance risk management and saw how fragmented communication slowed projects and created costly inefficiencies. After two failed attempts with other vendors, he turned to Paralect. Our challenge was to take a complex idea with many stakeholders involved and build a reliable platform that worked end-to-end, where previous attempts had failed.

Paralect delivered the beta version in just 10 months, covering the full workflow and launching both web and mobile apps. Today, iMitig8 Risk provides a complete digital ecosystem for insurance risk management — from budgeting and documentation to analytics and reporting. The platform continues to grow with integrations like Esri for hazard maps, SendGrid for communication, and AWS for scalable cloud infrastructure. Together with the client, Paralect’s CEO (Dmitry) and CTO (Igor) also joined the advisory board to support long-term product strategy and evolution.
