MyProviders™ helps residents quickly set up utilities when moving, showing updated plans in one place and activating services with a single form. It was the first utilities marketplace of its kind in the U.S. 💫
The challenge
In 2018 the Paralect team was tasked with building MyProviders™ MVP as a two-sided marketplace that enabled lease agents to easily track residents' utility statuses and customize requirements based on specific property policies — all within a 3-month timeline.
Results
Paralect released the MVP in May 2018 after just three months, launching Manager and Resident portals optimized for web, tablet, and mobile. The successful launch attracted additional investment, fueling development and team growth, and marked the start of a nearly six-year fruitful partnership between Paralect and MyProviders™.
