SaaS Logo Generator Skill

Generate a flat geometric logo mark the way Linear, Slack, Vercel and Notion are made, in one of the five families those marks fall into, delivered as transparent PNGs of the mark and its app-icon tile

The skill runs in Claude Code: it reads the product, writes 3 or 4 concepts as geometry, renders them all at once through OpenRouter, rows them up on a sheet, and cuts the pick into files that drop straight into a site: the mark alone on a transparent background with no padding, and the rounded app-icon tile. Give it:
Input
What to give
Product
What it is and what the user does with it, in a line. The skill reads the README and landing copy when it runs inside the project.
Family or brand
One of the 5 families the prompt carries (solid primitive, repeated primitive, letterform, faceted object, soft stroke), or a brand to be like ("like Slack's", "like Vercel's"). Leave it out and the skill spreads its concepts over 2 or 3.
Brand colour
A hex, when the product has one. Otherwise the skill picks a saturated tile colour for the mood, or black.
The prompt it sends is prompt.md , and it works on its own in any image model: the shared rules, then the 5 families with their own rules, and 1 slot to fill.
Placeholder
What to put
The product and the concept
A line on the product, its verb and object, a brand colour or "none", the initial, the family, then the concept: the symbol as geometry, its count and rhythm, the colour, and what to leave out
The families come from a study of 11 marks, analysis.md : what each one is as geometry, the 8 rules they all keep, and the 5 families they fall into. The cut is cut.py , run through cut.sh ; sheet.sh rows renders up to judge them, and fetch-references.sh pulls the 11 marks through Brandfetch to look at next to them.

Example runs

Ten products, two in each family, each rendered once through the prompt above on the default model and cut into the mark and the tile.
